Jeff Wisely Gospel Sax Ministries: Buy
Jeff Wisely, a Vergennes, Illinois resident, records his first solo gospel album, "Saxn For Jesus" in Nashville, Tennessee, which features his tenor saxophone and vocal talent. The album features classic gospel hymns, as well as three original songs written by Jeff. His saxophone style is smooth gospel jazz with touches of early "rhythm and blues."
Jeff lends his vocal stylings to four songs. The album was recorded at Bayou Recording and produced by Bill Anderson, Jr., whose diversified producing credits include Johnny Cash and Little Richard. George Clinton, Bayou's owner, engineered the project. His engineering credits include Alabama, Reba McIntire and Trace Adkins.
On Jeff's recording experience in Nashville, he states, "I am blessed to have the opportunity to meet, work with and become friends with so many new people in Nashville. From start to finish, God definitely had His hands on this project. The professionalism, dedication and creativity of each one involved in putting this CD together comes without measure."
Jeff also says, "The ministry "Sax'n for Jesus" is just that, may I always play for the Lord. I pray that through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the sax may be a instrument that draws people to Christ." When you witness Jeff's performances, either live or on compact disc, you'll soon realize Jeff fulfills his mission of bringing his audience to Jesus.
